With the end of the year approaching and 2024 just around the corner it's time to look back at what I accomplished in 2023 and discuss my crafting goals for the new year.
2023 Year in Review

As 2023 draws to a close it's time to start planning our projects for next year. I hope you'll join me in the A Stitch in Time Podcast Ravelry group for some new makealongs. I encourage you to watch this video, which will outline the guidelines and rules, but here are the highlights:
Smash the Stash 2024 January 1-December 31, 2024
This MAL will run much like 2023's Another Year of Stash but we will start fresh with a new yearlong chatter thread. You can knit, crochet, weave, or spin any yarn, pattern, or fibre stash acquired prior to 2024. One prize will be awarded each quarter, with winners announced during the first regular episode of A Stitch in Time in the following new quarter. You must be a member of the group to win.
Four new quarterly makealongs:Sweater Weather January 1-March 31, 2024
Accessorize It! April 1-June 30, 2024
Rock Your Socks July 1-September 30, 2024
All of the Above October 1-December 31, 2024
Each quarterly makealong will focus on a particular type of project. You will have three months to knit, crochet, or weave multiple projects from new or stashed yarn, with two prizes awarded quarterly, one drawn from the Chatter thread and one from the Finished Projects thread. You must be a member of the group to win.
Chatter is highly encouraged and feel free to double-dip by posting progress and FO pics in the Smash the Stash thread.
I’ve tried to think of every scenario but if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. In the meantime, you can use the designated thread in the Ravelry group to chat amongst yourselves about the new makealongs and the projects you are anticipating making in 2024. I look forward to making along with you again in the new year.
