Hello Carol! I'm really looking forward to the Advent KAL. I thought I would work on some of my Christmas gifts for it, but decided to take your advice and knit on something for myself each day. What a great idea! I do the same thing when I'm looking for hat patterns...takes me a lot of time to find just the right one. We must like it or we wouldn't do it, huh? We were stuck in a blowing snowstorm in the middle of Nebraska last week driving home to Colorado from Omaha. It made me think of Laura Ingalls Wilder's books. Have you ever read Giants in the Earth?
